We have over 4,000 images in our library. Over 1,300 have been digitised and can be viewed at www2.campbelltown.nsw.gov.au/localhist/scripts/home.asp. Other images can be viewed by appointment.
The CAHS collection includes early 19th century lantern slides and glass plates by Tom Swann, glass plates by P. C. Marlow and the Ivor G. Thomas collection. Tom Swann was an orchardist who lived at "Ferndale", Wedderburn. He was also a commercial photographer and provided scenic views that were displayed by the NSW Government Railways. Percy Marlow was a storekeeper and commercial photographer who was an Alderman on Campbelltown Municipal Council and served a number of years as Mayor of Campbelltown. Dr Ivor G. Thomas was the founding president of Campbelltown and Airds Historical Society. His collection of photographs dates from about 1950.
