| The traditional land of Aboriginal people from the Dharawal language group, Campbelltown was founded by Governor Macquarie on 1 December 1820. In 1968 Campbelltown was declared a city. Today the city stretches from Denham Court in the north to the Nepean River in the south, from the Georges River and Wedderburn in the east to the Scenic Hills and Mount Annan Botanic Garden in the west. |

| Meetings | The Society meets on the fourth Saturday of each month except January and December. Meetings commence at 1.30 pm. The venue is the Servant's Quarters, Glenalvon, 8 Lithgow Street, Campbelltown (behind Glenalvon House, entry via the driveway). Visitors are welcome.

| Museum | The Society's Museum is currently located at 8 Lithgow St, Campbelltown. Schools and other groups are welcome. The Society may be contacted on (02) 4625 1822. |
